MUSCLE SHOALS, Alabama – Okay, admittedly, the tournament site for the FLW Tour event on Pickwick Lake was technically Florence, Alabama, but it’s kinda fun to say “Muscle Shoals”. Right?

Besides, the Nomad crew was headquartered right up the street from the renowned Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, so, Muscle Shoals it is.

FLW’s semi-annual stop on this pool on the Tennessee River saw some familiar old warhorses in the mix (Scott Suggs, Jamie Horton, Mike Surman, Wesley Strader), but once the dust had settled, Tour rookie Buddy Gross had walked away with the win (despite a 4-pound, 14-ounce day on Championship Sunday).
